Description	The current trends point to the fact that young athletes are able to bring about top results in sports. The same is true in ski jumping (ski jumping as a part of Nordic combined), where young athletes exhibit skills that are comparable to the top ranking sportsmen. The aim of the study was determine whether differences exist between athletes in terms of their performance: B - best performance, M - average level, L - low level. 2D videography (3 camcorders) from 4 m before to 18 m after the take-off edge was applied in Nordic combined sprint events (K 90) at the JWSC 2000. The take-off, the transition and the start of the flight phases were analysed in all athletes (n = 63) and the technique was expressed in terms of the angle and the velocity parameters. The take-off in the best of jumpers is characterised by greater knee angle velocity and body rotation (B - 16.4°, M - 15.5°, L - 14.6°), combined with the higher vigour (the velocity in the perpendicular direction to the take-off plane; B - 2.47 (en) V současnosti je potvrzen trend, že mladí sportovci vykazují ty nejlepší výsledky a stejně je tomu i u skokanů na lyžích v severských kombinacích. jedním z cílů studie bylo zjistit rozdíly mezi sportovci vzhledem k jejich výkonu. Pro analýzu byla použita 2D vidoegrafická metoda. V současnosti je potvrzen trend, že mladí sportovci vykazují ty nejlepší výsledky a stejně je tomu i u skokanů na lyžích v severských kombinacích. jedním z cílů studie bylo zjistit rozdíly mezi sportovci vzhledem k jejich výkonu.
