Description
  • The aim of this study was to determine the statistical differences in kinematic parameters of the ski jumping flight phase between groups of athletes with the longest jump (BEST) ans shortest one (LOW). The comparison of two groups (BEST and LOW) of ski jumpers in the flight phase has shown existence of differences in the velocity variables (in-run velocity, horizontal and vertical velocity of the flight). The difference in the flight position between BESTand LOW set has been noted only in the main flight phase (74 m). The BEST set was already in the progressive forward rotation in 14 m as well as in 14 m of the flight. The flight position of the BEST set was group closer to the so called flat %22V%22 style.

(cs)
