Description	Bei der Sprachtherapie für Menschen mit symptomatischen Sprachstö-rungen ist die Bedeutung eines ganzheitlichen Ansatzes - vor allem in Bezug auf inklusive Beschulung, berufliche Mobilität, sowie weitere ak-tuelle Veränderungen im klinischen und schulischen Bereich - betont. Vorgeschlagen wird eine intensive Diskussion der Ausbildungspläne für Sprachheilpädagogen und Sprachtherapeuten, sowie für verwandte Be-rufsgruppen. Die Ergebnisse beruhen zum Teil auf Untersuchungen in-nerhalb eines größeren Forschungsprojektes der Kommunikation in der sonderpädagogischen Praxis. The paper focuses on a contemporary view of speech and language therapy (SLT) in people with symptomatic speech disorders. The authors emphasize the importance of holistic approach to SLT in relation to implementation of strategies of inclusive education and international university and professional mobility benefits, as well as to clinical and educational professional environmental changes. They propose a specific discussion concerning the necessity of interlinking the pre-gradual curriculum for SLT qualification with special needs and related disciplines, and professional knowledge/skills. The results partially reflect the investigation within specific grant research (IGA) called Communication deficits in selected forms of impaired communication skills with a focus on assessing the partial determinants of verbal and non-verbal components of communication in special education practice (PdF UP, PdF_2013_021, 2013/2014).
