Description
| - Value is the key of special pedagogy. The purpose of the paper is to discuss the special value and the value system of basic special education for 3-16 or 3-18-year-old-children with special needs in kindergartens, primary and middle schools. The paper considers that value is the significance of special education useful for itself and fot other things, and is more direct, explicit, quick and long-term in effectiveness. At the same time, it is made up of internal and external attributes; the former comprising of values of self-protection and self-development and the latter includes economic and humanistic values. In the past, reserachers emphasized on obviously economical values more than hidden internal and humanistic values; thus it is necessary to strnghten the subjectivity, humanity and cultural quality of basic special education in the future.
