  • The text of the paper focuses on the area of educating pupils with specific education needs and the support offered by the current legislation towards educating these pupils. The question raised herein is whether or not the established concept together with the change(s) to the curriculum brought improvement in training pupils with visual impairment and furthermore, whether the graduates with special needs leave primary schools with competencies corresponding with the contents duly defined in the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Schools. Addressed here is also the issue of what needs to be changed and how to proceed further in improving the training of pupils for future job assertion.
