| - Období konce 20. a začátku 21. století je mimo jiné charakteristické klesajícím zájmem mladé generace o studium přírodních věd a následně pak i o kariéru vědeckého pracovníka v této oblasti. Hledání důvodů pro tyto trendy, stejně tak jako hledání cest k jejich nápravě, věnuje velké úsilí nejen pedagogická veřejnost. V rámci těchto snah vznikla na Přírodovědecké fakultě Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci iniciativa, hledající možnosti motivace studentů přírodních věd k vědecké práci metodou studentské vědecké soutěže realizované ve formě reálné vědecké konference. Prvnímu ročníku této motivační soutěže, realizovanému na PřF UP Olomouc v roce 2007 předcházel sociologický výzkum, mapující aktuální stav postojů vysokoškolské mládeže jak ke studiu přírodních věd, tak i k následné kariéře vědeckého pracovníka. Po dvou ročnících studentské vědecké soutěže byl sociologický průzkum prováděn znovu . Tyto dotazníkové akce ukázaly na zajímavé skutečnosti týkající se ovlivnění postojů mladé generace k přírodním vědá (cs)
- La fin du vingtième et le début du vingt-et-unième siècles sont caractérisés ? entre autres ? par l?intérêt décroissant des jeunes pour les études en sciences naturelles et la carrière de chercheur dans ce domaine. Les pédagogues cherchent des raisons expliquant ces tendances pour prendre des mesures et améliorer la situation. Dans ce contexte, une initiative ayant pour objectif de chercher des possiblités de motivation des étudiants en sciences naturelles vers le travail scientifique portant sur le concours scientifique des étudiants ayant la forme d?une conférence scientifique réelle. Le premier concours de motivation, organisé à la Faculté des Sciences de l?Université Palacký d?Olomouc en 2007, a été précédé d?une enquête sociologique portant sur l?état actuel du comportement des étudiants universitaires envers les études en sciences naturelles et la carrière de chercheur. - A period of the end of 20th and the beginning of 21st century is characteristic by declining interest of young generation in natural science studies and consequently an interest in a career of a researcher in this area is lowered. An effort is exerted not only by paedagogical community to find reasons for these trends, as well as to search for remedy of this situation. Within the framework of these efforts an initiative at the Palacky University, Faculty of Science came into an existence, which in order to motivate the students to scientific work established scientific contest in the form of a real scientific conference which is to be held annually. A sociological analysis was performed prior to first conference, mapping the actual attitudes of the university students to studies in the area of natural sciences and to the career of a researcher.
