| - Many ruthenium-based compounds have been investigated up to now. Among them, a few show interesting biological properties, e.g. [indH][trans-RuIII(ind)2Cl4] (called KP1019), and [ImH][trans-RuIIICl4(DMSO)(Im)] (called NAMI-A). 1,2 This work represents a continuation in our systematic study of mononuclear RuIII complexes bearing cytokinins derived from 6-benzyalminopurine (L). Generally, we strive to find a relationship between structure and any type of biological activity of the prepared Ru-complexes. Regarding this work, we have prepared octahedral complexes of the composition [trans-RuIIICl4(DMSO)(H+L)] {L = e.g. 6-(2,3-dimethoxybenzylamino)purine}. The compounds have been fully characterized by elemental analysis, IR, VIS and EI+ MS spectroscopies, molar conductivity, cyclic voltammetry, magnetic measurements, and single crystal X-ray analysis. - Doposud bylo studováno množství RuII a RuIII komplexů ale pouze některé z nich prokázaly výrazné biologické vlastnosti, např.: [indH][trans-RuIII(ind)2Cl4] (nazývaný KP1019) a [ImH][trans-RuIIICl4(DMSO)(Im)] (nazývaný NAMI-A). Tato práce představuje pokračování našeho systematického studia jednojaderných Ru komplexů s deriváty 6-benzylaminopurinu. Byla připravena série látek o složení [trans-RuIIICl4(DMSO)(H+L)] {L = např. 6-(2,3-dimethoxybenzylamino)purin}.
