Description	Interspecifická hybridizace je jednou z možností, jak přenášet geny pro rezistenci z genomu planých druhů rodu Cucumis do genomu pěstované okurky seté. S využitím embryokultur lze po mezidruhovém opylení izolovat nezralá embrya a ty následně v in vitro podmínkách dopěstovat v hybridní rostliny. V případě mezidruhové hybridizace C. anguria x C. zeyheri byly získány hybridní rostliny, v případě křížení C. sativus s C. melo a C. metuliferus byly získány pouze kalusy. (cs) Interspecific hybridization in one of the possible methods of introducing resistance genes from wild Cucumis spp. to cucumber cultivars. Embryo-rescue are the methods of interest for overcoming crossing barriers. Various interspecific hybridization experiments were made in the genus Cucumis. There were obtained plants from crossing between two wild species (C. anguria x C. zeyheri) and calli from crossing C. sativus x C. melo, C. metuliferus. Interspecific hybridization in one of the possible methods of introducing resistance genes from wild Cucumis spp. to cucumber cultivars.
