Description
| - We studied correlations among the distribution of carabids and terrestrial isopods and the type of forest growth in floodplain forest. The research was held in Litovelske Pomoravi Protected Landscape Area from March 2004 to March 2006. For collecting the zoological material we used standard pitfall tramping method. Two parallel lines of traps were installed in transect through the forest mosaic: 80 years old growth (Querco-Ulmetum), 10 years old growth (Quercus monoculture), 3 years old clearcut with oak seedlings and 120 years old floodplain forest (Querco-Ulmetum). In each line were 17 traps in 10 m distance from each other. Material was collected every two weeks during the season and every four weeks in winter months. We analysed data in CANOCO 4.5 for following environmental factors: age of growth, position of trap in forest mosaic (expressed by number code), line, collecting date (day + month) and the year.
