| Description
| - Botanická zahrada Univerzity Palackého v Olomouci byla založena v roce 1901, díky úsilí Botanické společnosti v Olomouci. Od roku 1956 je součástí Katedry botaniky Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Palackého. V zahradě o rozloze 0.6 ha je pěstováno přibližně 2000 druhů rostlin. Botanická zahrada je jedním ze zakládajících členů Unie botanických zahrad České republiky, která vznikla v roce 2005. Současné aktivity jsou primárně zaměřeny na výuku studentů Univerzity, účast na výuce studentů středních i základních škol; zahrada je otevřena veřejnosti, organizuje specializované výstavy (např. výstavu jedovatých a rizikových rostlin. V rámci spolupráce s organizací Výstaviště Flora Olomouc a.s. byly ve sklenících této organizace instalovány trvalé expozice karnivorních rostlin a rostlin čeledi Zingiberaceae. Rostlinný materiál pochází z kolekcí Katedry botaniky PřF Univerzity Palackého. V botanické zahradě jsou trvale umístěny unikátní speciální kolekce rodů Dianthus, Molinia, Scilla, Taraxacum, kolekc (cs)
- Botanical Garden in Olomouc was established in 1901, thanks to efforts of Botanical Association in Olomouc. Since 1956 it is part of the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, Palacký University. At about 2000 species are grown in the area of 0.6 ha of the garden. In 2005 the Botanical Garden acted as one of founding members the Association of Botanical Gardens of the Czech Republic. Current activities are primarily aimed at education of students and scholars; garden is open for public and organizes temporal specialized exhibitions (e.g. poisonous and risky plants). Permanent exhibitions of plants from the family Zingiberaceae and carnivorous plants were created in neighbouring greenhouses of Fair Grounds Flora Olomouc Ltd. In botanical garden there are located special unique collections of genera Dianthus, Molinia, Scilla, Taraxacum, chive and grasses from Patagonia.
