  • Histochemické a biochemické principy odpovědi rostlinných pletiv na infekci byly studovány u tří genotypů Lycopersicon spp. s různým stupněm rezistence k Oidium neolycopersici. Vysoká produkce superoxidového anionu byla pozorována hlavně v infikovaných listech vysoce náchylného Lycopersicon esculentum cv. 'Amateur' během prvních hodin po inokulaci. Produkce peroxide vodíku a nárůst peroxidasové aktivity byly detekovány hlavně v rezistentních genotypech 4-12 hpi. Zvýšená cytosolická POX a katalázová aktivita v listových extraktech rezistentních genotypů L. chmielewskii (LA 2663) a L. hirsutum (LA 2128) (20 hpi) koreluje s poměrem mrtvých buněk v místech infekce. (cs)
