Description	En la ponencia se analizará la representación del imigrante latinoamericano en los textos mediáticos publicados en la versión digital de la prensa espa?ola y en las discusiones de los usuarios de los medios digitales. Partimos de la suposición de que mediante el uso de la lengua se distribuye el reconocimiento social, un bien simbólicos que puede ser una de las fuentes de varios tipos de la desigualdad social entre la población autóctona y los inmigrantes. Recurriendo al análisis crítico del discurso, queremos rescatar precisamente esta dimensión de la comunicación e indagar sobre el papel de los medios de comunicación y del internet en la (re)producción de la desigualdad social. The paper is dealing with the representation of Latin American immigrant in media texts of the Spanish press and in discussions of the users of digital media. We assume that by using the language and social recognition, a symbolic good that can be a source of various types of social inequality between native citizens and immigrants is distributed. Drawing on critical discourse analysis, we recover precisely this dimension of communication and investigate the role of media and the internet in the (re) production of social inequality. (en)
