Description	First, there are shortly described some theoretical aspects of gas chromatography in two dimensions and some metabolomics fundamentals in the chapter. Following you can find there the section comparing two mostly used derivatization techniques in metabolomics - silylation and indirect alkylation via chloroformiates. Below you can find there 4 experiments describing the experiences of our laboratory in the field of comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography human metabolomic analyses - analysis of urine acidic extract in relation to organic acidurias, comparison of harvesting methods for adherently growing human skin fibroblasts (trypsin treatment vs. methanolic quenching), following the discovering the effect of chemoterapeutuc drug 5-fluorouracil to their metabolome, and finally analysis of human blood plasma in relation to metabolic disorders again.
