| - Array comparative genomic hybridization and fluorescence in situ hybridization help in reevaluating and filling out the pattern of chromosomal rearrangement in T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia. In T-PLL, the karyotype is usually complex and characterized by the presence of multiple chromosomal changes involving T-cell receptor ? a ?(TCR ?/?). Recurring chromosomal aberration include inversion or translocation involving TCL1. In two cases with failed G-banding chromosome analysis we detected genomic imbalances by array CGH in both cases. Derivate chromosome 14 was found in both of T-PLL cases. These findings confirm the importance of precise molecular karyotype determination in patients diagnosed with T-PLL.
