| - Introduction: Project ALERT (Acute Leukemia ? clinical RegisTry) was initiated 11 years ago. The database is representative for the Czech population, at least in the category of curatively treated AML patients. Methods: The database provides patients parametric records and full scale recording of prognostic markers including cytogenetic mapping. Restults: Presented cohort consists of 1890 AML patients registered from January 1996 to February 2007. Median age of the patients at the time of diagnosis was 59 years. 1374 patients (73%) received induction chemotherapy, 737 (46%) were younger then 56 years. Induction chemotherapy received 92% of younger patients (CR 76%, OS and DFS 20 months, and OS of the patients in CR (OSCR) 45.5 months) and 58% of older patients (CR 55%, OS 9 months, DFS 11 months and OSCR 19 months). - Abstrakt česky: Projekt ALERT (Akutní Leukemie ? klinický RegisTr) byl zahájen před 11 lety. Databáze je přinejmenším v kategorii kurativně léčených nemocných reprezentativní pro českou populaci. Databáze poskytuje záznamy v parametrickém členění včetně prognostických markerů, především genetiky. Prezentovaný soubor čítá 1890 nemocných s akutní myeloidní leukemií diagnostikovaných a léčených v letech 1996-2007. Práce obsahuje prodrobné analýzy tohoto souboru nemocných. Registr ALERT je nejdůležitějším zdrojem populaačních dat v této oblasti v ČR. (cs)
