| Description
| - Biopsie sentinelových uzlin u pacientů se slizničním melanonem hlavy a krku dosud nebyla provedena. Proto byla tato metoda testována v pilotní studii jako stážovací nástroj. U pacientů byla provedena lymfoscintigrafie, elektivní krční disekce s radionavigovanou identifikací sentinelové uzliny a resekce primárního tumoru. Histopatologický stav sentinelové uzliny byl porovnán s odstraněnými krčními uzlinami a s klinickým průběhem. Pacient č. 1, u něhož sentinelová uzlina i krční uzliny byly negativní, žije 19 měsíců bez známek onemocnění. U pacienta č. 2 s pozitivní sentinelovou uzlinou a negativní blokovou disekcí se objevila hematogenní diseminace tři měsíce po operaci a byla mu nasazena paliativní chemoterapie. U slizničních melanomů je prognostický význam histopatologického stavu uzlin sporný, z čehož vyplývá chybění oficiální TM klasifikace i terapeutických standardů.
