Description	The chapter deals with possibilities of decrease in CO2 emissions in industry of metallurgy. It analyses various kinds of technical and technological approaches to it in iron - making. It is concerned about application of hydro – carbon fuels as a substation for blast furnace coke. There are presented calculation for injection of degasation gas and tar as a result of research activities in Centre ENET at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
