| Description
| - Waste incineration is naturally very effective method of the disposal particularly the organic wastes. In the case of higher toxic metals contents in the incinerated waste it is supposed the high emission of toxic metals and high contents in the bottom ash and fly ash in dependence on the combustion system. It is not absolutely obvious from the available literature sources the distribution course of toxic metals during incineration processes in the municipal waste incineration plants. From the the pilot analysis realized in the Department of Environmental Protection in Industry VSB ? TU of Ostrava it is clear that the behaviour of individual toxic metals will be independent and these metals will collocate with the waste combustion products (bottom ash, fly ash, activated carbon, gaseous phase) according to the kind of the incinerated waste and the heat temperature.

- Spalování odpadů je přirozeně velmi účinný způsob likvidace především organických odpadů. V případě vyšších obsahů toxických kovů ve spalovaném odpadu je nutno počítat v závislosti na typu spalovacího systému s vysokými emisemi těchto kovů a s jejich vysokými obsahy v popelech, škvárách a v popílku. Z dostupných literárních pramenů není zcela zřejmé jakou cestou jsou tyto toxické kovy distribuovány při spalovacích procesech na spalovnách komunálních odpadů. Z pilotních analýz provedených na Katedře ochrany životního prostředí v průmyslu VŠB ? TU Ostrava je zřejmé, že chování jednotlivých toxických kovů je individuální a že se tyto budou vázat na jednotlivé produkty spalování (popel, popílek, aktivní uhlí, plynná fáze) zejména v závislosti a druhu spalovaného odpadu a na spalovací teplotě.
