Description
  • The development of civilization is the cause of the formation of new pollutants group. One of them is a antibiotics group. During the treatment drugs are excreted from the body and together with municipal wastewater land to the sewage treatment plant. There are a purification by using activated sludge. Antibiotics are designed to kill microorganisms so because of their nature and stable chemical structures there are not removed from wastewater in 100%. With the purified waste water to leak into the environment. Antibiotics belong to the refracting substances which is not removed in the traditional way by the microorganisms of activated sludge. Antibiotics as the active substances to interact with the matter lively. It seems a reasonable to introduce chemical pre-treatment before the conventional (biological) treatment. Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) are used often as a pre-treatment. In the AOPs are created hydroxyl radicals with high oxidation potential. AOPs methods also include electrolysis processes. This process can be catalysed by a variety of substances. Some of these substances are phthalocyaninees. The principle of operation of phthalocyaninees are to electrons flow, the potential these substances cane be to enhance the electrolytic processes.
