Description	The report addresses the impact of large enterprises on employment in the urban agglomeration of Ostrava. It also touches upon several other selected aspects. After defining the terminology, the report discusses allocation and share of the large enterprises for a given labour market. Furthermore, two short case studies are included – a traditional industrial business and a unique foreign greenfield investment. On these two examples, the impact on employment is elaborated and some distinctions of these significant regional agents are stated as well.
