Description	This article focuses on the debate concerning the relationship between monetary policy, asset prices and financial stability post crisis. We sum up the lessons from the crisis and outline the monetary policy framework that is in our view emerging as the new consensus. We then consider whether the new framework emerging can work for a small open economy.
