Description	The principal task of the paper is to compare chosen indicators of stock capital markets within small emerging Central European economics, especially the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Hungary. The comparison is based on the evolution of market stock indices as well as a few particular stocks during last six years. The comparison of chosen indicators is based on market data from January 1998 to April 2004. We study weekly, monthly as well as quarterly returns. We should note that by %22monthly%22 returns we mean rather four-week return, by %22quarter%22 we mean 13 weeks. Besides common indicators, we have decided to compare alternative beta coefficient which we referee here to as Cohen's beta coefficient . (en) Studování specifik malých otevřených ekonomik je nutným i zajímavým předmětem zájmu finančních analytiků, zejména pokud se jedná o ekonomiky v transformační fázi. Primárním cílem tohoto článku je proto srovnání vybraných indikátorů kapitálového (akciového) trhu malých, otevřených středoevropských ekonomik ve fázi transformace, konkrétně jsou studovány trhy v České republice, Slovenské republice a Maďarsku. Srovnání je založeno na vývoji tržního akciového, typického pro každou ze studovaných ekonomik (PX50, SAX, BUX), i hlavních jednotlivých akcií za období leden 1998 až duben 2004. V článku jsou studovány týdenní, měsíční a pro srovnání i čtvrtletní výnosy. Řada základních ukazatelů je doplněna studiem alternativního Cohenova b ?? (cs)
