Description
| - Present day sees an extensive growth of CRM applications. One of the main reasons of this growth is ongoing globalisation and subsequently greater competitiveness on national markets which is caused predominantly by increase of competing companies. Quality of products and services is a must and therefore low cost by itself does not guarantee success. Strive to attract more customers and, above all, to retain them is increasing significantly. CRM applications help the companies and institutions in similar situations to learn about their customers more effectively than ever before. The article attempts to provide a brief summary of features of these applications and description of their architecture, of conditions for their future effectiveness and of information technologies used for their implementation.
