  • Lost cores based on inorganic salt are used in an elaborately shaped inner hollows of castings, which are made from non-ferrous metals. Especially Al - alloys, in which cores have to fulfill high requirements on the quality and purity of the casting surface after their removal. In addition to thermal and mechanical resistance during molding, cores have to withstand the conditions of atmospheric moisture during storage Above all, they have to guarantee the basic principle of salt cores, and a complete and residue-free removal from the hollow of the casting solution in water.
