Description	The objective of this article is to assess the economic efficiency of the investment plan for the use of selected statistical and dynamic methods of assessment. The subject of the investment project is the construction of new transport lines for a production company that specializes in the production of coke. Investment decision is a difficult and long-term matter that must be carefully considered with an awareness of the time factor and the potential risks. To methods used to assess the effectiveness of investment will include: the payback period, net present value, internal rate of return and profitability index. Correct implementation of investment decisions form the basis of a prosperous company. Investments usually affect the operation of the business for a long time, so the company should implement only those that are economically competitive.
