  • Integration of the lean and agile manufacturing will lead to satisfying customer in the steady production environment. Today, it is really complicated to evaluate the possibility of these concepts’ integration. Mostly, they are investigated separately. This article presents the model of the appraisal of the lean and agile manufacturing using the fuzzy logic. The research model is based on the waste sources related to the lean production and on the parameters of the agile manufacturing. The necessary combination of the model elements will be determined with help of the fuzzy logic. The created generic model can be used for the different types of the companies including the metallurgy by changing the meaning of the examined coefficients and their weights.
