  • The presented work has been focused on studying the influence of the heat treatment on structural and mechanical characteristics of the selected aluminium alloys AlMn1Cu and AlFe1.5M and creates a link-up with the previous evaluation of influence of the forming reduction on the resulting structure and mechanical properties of investigated aluminium alloys. The aim of the presented work was to find an adequate heat treatment, leading to optimization of the resulting mechanical properties after application of the heat treatment. The authors endeavoured to increase plasticity of the given alloys and thus make it possible their following rolling. For this purpose the rolled (with deformation in the amount of 92 %) samples underwent three modes of the recrystallization annealing at temperatures 300 °C, 400 °C and 500 °C and different dwell times on these temperatures.
