Description	The paper presents application possibilities of thermal analysis equipment and its utilisation for phase transformation temperatures, latent and specific heats acquisition of multi-component alloys on the basis of Fe. Application possibilities of existing equipment (Setaram SETSYS 18TM) are presented and supposed possibilities of new experimental system (STA 449 F3 Jupiter) also. The new experimental system for thermal analysis will be obtained in the frame of RMTVC (Regional Materials Science and Technology Centre) project solution. The new equipment will significantly expand possibilities of basic and applied research at the Department of physical chemistry and theory of technological processes and Department of Metallurgy (FMME).
