Description
  • Equal channel angular pressing is effective tool for attaining ultrafine grain sizes. In ECAP, the material is put into an angular channel-die and have a simple shear deformation. The plastic strain per pass depends on the channel angle as well as the corner radius of the die, and the typical equivalent strain (e) in 90°die is about 1,0. Because cross sectional area is constant after the pass, the procedures can be repeated limitlessly so that large plastic strain is imposed on the materials. The article provides a basic analysis of influence of grain size on mechanical properties. Authors have experimentally determined development of cooper structure and properties at ECAP

  • Technologie protlačování polotovarů pravoúhlým kanálem (ECAP) je vhodná pro získání jemnozrnné struktury. Při průchodu materiálu nástrojem se dosahuje výrazná smyková deformace. Stupeň deformace závisí na úhlu kanálu a poloměrů zaoblení pracovních hran. V pravoúhlém kanálu se dosahuje jedním průchodem deformace 1,0. Protože se při průchodu nemění příčný průřez, lze průchody opakovat a tím nakumulovat v materiálu plastickou deformaci. V článku je proveden základní rozbor ECAP a je uvedena relace mezi velikostí zrn a vlastnostmi. Experimenty byly provedeny na vzorcích vyrobených z mědi. Autoři experimentálně určili vývoj struktury Cu a vlastností ECAP technologie (cs)
