| - This article deals with a new method of determining effective partition coefficients of elements from their distribution curves of dendritic segregation. This method was also applied to determine the two above quantities in a series of samples of different cooling rates in the temperature interval from (the liquidus temperature + 15 °C) to (500 to 400)°C. The samples were made of low-carbon steel with some 0.06 wt %C, with the effective partition coefficients being established for manganese, silicon, phosphorus and sulphur. It was found that the effective partition coefficients of elements determined by the new method integrate in themselves both the effect of segregation in the course of steel solidification and the effect of homogenisation, both during the solidification and the cooling of steel.

- V příspěvku je popsána nová metoda stanovení efektivních rozdělovacích koeficientů prvků z jejich distribučních křivek dendritické segregace. Popsaná metoda byla zároveň aplikována ke stanovení obou zmíněných veličin u série vzorků s rozdílnou rychlostí ochlazování v rozmezí teplot: (teplota likvidu + 15°C) až (500 až 400)°C. Vzorky byly vyrobeny z nízkouhlíkové oceli s obsahem uhlíku 0,06 hm.%, přičemž efektivní rozdělovací koeficienty byly stanoveny pro mangan, křemík, fosfor a síru. Bylo zjištěno, že novým způsobem stanovené efektivní rozdělovací koeficienty prvků v sobě integrují jak efekt odměšování během tuhnutí oceli, tak efekt homogenizace, a to jak během tuhnutí, tak v průběhu chladnutí oceli.
