Description
  • The new software ENERGY 4.0 was developed under Delphi language that enables to determine the activation energy at hot forming as well as other material constants in relationships used for prediction of the maximum deformation resistance and strain necessary for start of dynamic recrystallization at certain forming conditions. The first stage of computation is based on the multiple non-linear analysis of raw data obtained e.g. by continuous torsion tests. Interactive work with sophisticated graphics enables to exclude or include selected values in calculation repeatedly. Thus the exceedingly scattered values as well as impact of the possible phase transformations can be recognized and eliminated. In the second stage, the previously obtained constantsare refined by automated non-linear regression. The knowledge of activation energy at hot forming is of great practical importance. It has to be computed for the strictly defined region of uniform structure.
