Description	The stabilizing effect of titanium on intergranular corrosion is smaller in cast steels than in steels hot-worked. A higher Ti:C ratio is needed to stabilized the steel completely. Too high titanium content does produce a steel with high ferrite content in the structure. Relations between chemical composition ferrite content and toughness and/or intergranular corrosion sensibility of Cr-Ni cast steels are studied.
