Description
  • The automatic identification technologies are beginning to applied more and more in many sectors [5], [8], like a supply chain management, security, hospital etc. They allow proving technological processes and observing the rules in various productions. The advantage of RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) is the fact that there is not necessary direct visibility for reading; it is also interesting to read multiple RFID tags simultaneously compared to other possibilities of identification. Another advantage of RFID tags is the ability to withstand higher temperatures, humidity and environmental conditions in general. It has the big meaning to observe hygienic regulations in food industry. Paper deals with analyse and research of the different possibilities of applying suitable High frequency (HF) and Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) RFID tags for needs of automatic identification of the original plastic food moulds. Suitable RFID tag will be chosen based on the testing. It will have to meet the specified requirements for automatic identification needs of moulds which are used in specific operating conditions. Selection of the appropriate frequency is one of the most important and the first design phases of automatic identification solutions based on RFID technology. A number of other restrictions follow from this choice, such as reader range, speed of reading and writing, applicability in different environments and more.
