Description
  • Fine top gas mud from washing the blast-furnace gas was deposited to the waste disposal sites in the past, because its further processing was not possible because of heavy metal content - particularly lead and zinc - higher than what is allowed by the relevant regulations. The goal of the project is to monitor the waste disposal sites with top gas mud in the Ostrava region, taking and analysing the samples and following laboratory verification of the technology for physical or possibly chemical removal of zinc and lead.
