  • The paper deals with the use of a new series of frequency converter SIEMENS Sinamics S 120 is the input-pulse rectifier (Active Line Module), allowing the operating four-quadrant mode. The paper set out the necessary hardware configuration of the converter, which allows the energy recuperation in the power network. This option is used in the operation of small wind power plant that uses asyn-chronous generator, which allows the power supply to the power network through this converter. The paper shows the experience gained during the operation in the verification operation in laboratory conditions on the low power equipment. Seeing that the configuration is not extended in the Czech Republic, can not be considered as final results in this paper, including in relation to the basic version of the firmware described frequency converter.
