  • Postupné snižování zásob fosilních paliv, zajištění dodávek energie, vysoké ceny ropy a růst znečištění životního prostředí následované změnami klimatu představují velkou výzvu pro sětovou ekonomiku spojenou s reorganizací složení primárních a sekundárních zdrojů energie. Není technologie, která by byla schopná zmíněné problémy vyřešit. Vodíkové technologie a palivové články jsou schopné zredukovat emise CO2 a poskytnout dostatek energie pro společnost. Nicméně, musí ještě projít dlouhým technologickým vývojem podporovaným nákupní cenou a vhodný politickýn klimatem, po kterém budou moci vstoupit na trh s energiemi jako plnohodnotný soupeř konvenčním zdrojům energie. Tým Laboratoře palivových článků VŠB-TUO se snaží rozšířit znalosti vodíkových technologií a palivových článků mezi veřejnost prostřednictvím projektů, výstav a přednášek. Tento článek pojednává o jednom z projektů, který se nazývá projekt HydrogenIX (cs)
  • Gradual reduction of fossil fuel deposits, energy supply safeties, high prices of oil and raising pollution of environment followed by climate changing present big challenge for world economy connected with reorganization of structure of primary and secondary sources of energy. There is no technology, which is able to solve mentioned problems globally. Hydrogen technologies and fuel cells are able to reduce CO2 emissions and provide enough energy for society. However, they have to go through long technological development supported by purchase price and convenient %22political climate%22, after what they will enter the energy market as full-value energy source that is able to compete with conventional energy sources. The team of Fuel Cells Laboratory VŠB-TU of Ostrava tries to extend the knowledge about hydrogen technologies and fuel cells among people by projects, exhibitions and lectures. This paper deals with one of these projects, which is called %22Project HydrogenIX
