  • This article advances practical results of the realization of laboratory model of Three Phase Four Quadrant Current Source Rectifier. This results are as the output of the team work of two students and their diploma thesis on the Department of Power Electronic and Electric Drives. There is described the realization of power part of the converter and the control method. There are characterized attributes of using Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) and the implementation for Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Finally, this paper describes ideas of the future work and new possibilities of using this converter like the matrix converter.
