Description	The paper gives the overview about the complex solution of the e-learning on the department of computer science. Hypertext document enriched by multimedia objects is a basis for e-learning together with learning management system (LMS) KatIS. Documents suitable for distance learning, preferably in e-learning form. Academic solution how to create such a document is based on open standards such are XML and DocBook styles. The complex math formulas are written in MathML or in LaTeXe respectively. It is possible to use editors for preparation of DocBook based texts. Authors' texts are compiled into both HTML and PDF files. They are usable for CD-ROM/WWW and for paper based documents too. Multimedia objects can be made with Macromedia Flash. It is easy to add them into HTML files. Our multichoice e-testing is done applying generated PDF forms #- the answers are sending back into the LMS, then they are evaluated and the student#s results are updated automatically.
