Description
  • The wheel excavator is complicated and very large mechanical system. As every one is the original one, and because of its expanse, it is a subject of many kinds of computational investigations. Some of them can be passed using commercial FEM packages (Ansys, Cosmos, etc.), some can not. The computational modeling of the drive has a special features (the driving moment - rotational speed curve, the friction clutch, etc.), which can not be satisfied by such packages. For this purpose the designer uses hisown program group. But it is necessary to built the correct computational model with a small number of degrees of freedom. The paper is about how to do it.
