Description
  • The fire resistance of the building structures is determined mostly by testing in an accredited laboratory. New findings have enabled the calculation of the structure fire resistance. A progressive method of calculation of the fire resistance is also mentioned in the body of European standards. Calculation of the fire resistance demands apposite determination of temperature distribution in the cross-section (heat-exposure model) and analysis of mechanical responses of the structure exposed to increased temperature (structural-response model). Therefore, the fire conditions in this article are defined by a fire field model. Thermal-mechanical analysis structures are executed by a academic version of program FEMLAB 3.3. The aim of this article is to find acceptable results of thermal and mechanical response of concrete structure by method FEM and to find more apposite mathematic model for analysis of global structural stress-strain conditions.
