Description	Podstatou navrhovaného projektu byla aktivní účast na celosvětově uznávané mezinárodní konferenci s názvem FraMCoS-7 (Fracture mechanics of concrete and Concrete Structures), zaměřené na stavební materiály, ale zejména na betony a betonové konstrukce. Letošní 7. ročník konference, pořádaná v tříletých intervalech, se konal ve městě Seogwipo na ostrově Jeju, Korea. Konference byla pd záštitou mezinárodní asociace IA-FraMCoS (International Association of Fracture Mechanics for Concrete and Cncrete Structures) a dalších institucí jako je Korejský Institut betonových konstrukcí KCI či významných společností na poli světové vědy a výzkumu ve stavebním průmyslu (např. American Concrete Institute – ACI, RILEM, JCI, ACBM). (cs) Nowadays, in this modern, hectic and of course global world, the main duty of not only young researchers and professors is to be in touch with recent worldwide research and development. One of the opportunities is to participate actively in The 7th international Fracture mechanics of concrete and Concrete Structures (FraMCoS-7), held in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, KOREA. New trends, experience and knowledge have been adopted not only in our research, but also in pedagogical activities. Within the conference, research work have been presented. The main aim was also to represent VSB-TU Ostrava and Moravian-Silesian Region in the global research and development. (en)
