  • Skutečnost, že degradace nosných částí mostních konstrukcí je jev nahodilý a může se vyskytnout vlivem únavového poškození, se promítla do Evropské normy. Otevřená zůstává otázka jaký rozměr trhliny je kritický pro zachování požadované spolehlivosti mostů. Článek je příspěvkem k možnosti využít pro pravděpodobnostní výpočet jinou metodu než Monte Carlo, která byla doposud používaná. Postup PDPV vychází ze základních pojmů a postupů teorie pravděpodobnosti. I u PDPV jsou vstupní proměnlivé náhodné veličiny (zatížení, geometrické a materiálové charakteristiky, imperfekce ad.) vyjádřeny histogramy s tzv. neparametrickým rozdělením, přičemž metoda není omezena ani pro použití parametrických rozdělení.   • The European Standard has taken into account the fact that degradation of load-carrying components of bridge structures is an accidental phenomenon that can occur in consequence of fatigue damage. The question is still what the critical dimension of the crack is if the required reliability of a bridge should be maintained. This paper discusses possible use of other than Monte Carlo methods which has been widely used so far. DDPFM is based on general terms and procedures used in probabilistic theories. In DDPFM, input random quantities (such as the load, geometry, material properties, or imperfections) are also applied. The description of the random quantities is expressed by the non-parametric distribution in histograms. This technique can be also used for parametric divisions.
