Description	Kaposi sarcoma (KS) has become a common manifestation in people with AIDS, especially men. The histology of Bohemian 71-old-year woman with nodul of spindle cell tumour expressing endothelial markers FVIII and Vimentin, CD31, CD34 markers were ob served. The disease is typically described in association with HHV-8 (human herpes virus-8) infection and several genetic abnormalities including gain of 8q and 1q, loss of 3p and 7q22, 8p11, 13q11 and 19q13 rearrangements. However, the data obtained from either earlier or later stages utilizing comparative genomic hybridisation remain controversial. Here, we show in our case monosomy of chromosome 17 utilizing FISH method on paraffin sections. Interestingly, we did not observe the previously reported aberrations of gain of 1q and 3q associated with diagnosed KS. In these report we present clinical, pathologic and laboratory findings in a case of unusual nodular form of KS which affected woman with HIV seronegative.
