Description
  • A new method of jet formation, which allows launching a very fast jet having a velocity to 400 km/s and the Mach number to 10 by using a relatively small laser energy 100 J, was applied at the PALS facility to study plasma jets interaction with a gas-puff has target. The fine structures of the interaction zone were investigated by means of optical and x-ray diagnostics. The experiment is interpreted with a semi-analytical model and 2-D radiation hydrodynamic simulations.

  • Nová metoda formování plazmových jetů, dovolující vytvářet velmi rychlé jety o rychlosti až 400 km/s a Machově čísle 10 s užitím jen relativně malé laserové energie 100 J, byla použita na zařízení PALS ke studiu interakce plazmových jetů s plynovým terčíkem. Jemné struktury interakční zóny byly zkoumány pomocí optické interferometrie a rentgenové diagnostiky. Experiment je intepretován na základě semi-analytického modelu a radiačně hydrodynamických 2-D simulací. (cs)
