  • Laserové urychlování fóliových volných terčů s mylarovým ablátorem bylo studováno na zařízení PALS s využitím interferometrické a stínové metody. Účinnost přenosu laserové energie do terče byla určována z objemu kráterů vytvořených při srážce urychlené fólie s masivním hliníkovým terčem. Účinnosti přenosu energie a maximální dosažitelné rychlosti byly porovnány pro terče s tenkou hnací zlatou vrstvou a bez ní. (cs)

The efficiency of laser energy transfer into the flyers was determined from volumes of the craters produced by collisions of the accelerated foil with a massive aluminium target. Energy transfer efficiencies and maximum achievable velocities are compared for flyers with and without a thin pusher layer of gold.
