Description
  • Self-focusing effects, induced by pulse iodine laser PALS, have been investigated at the third harmonics (438 nm) and at intensities of the order of 10(16) W/cm(2), changing the focal point position. Au was used as a target. Results demonstrated that self-focusing occurs when the laser beam is focused about 200 micrometers in front of the target surface. At such conditions, new group of ions is produced, having high charge states and high kinetic energy, because of the increment in temperature of the laser-generated plasma.

  • Byl studován efekt samofokusace, indukovaný pulzním jodovým laserem PALS na 3. harmonické frekvenci (438 nm) s intensitou 10(16) W/cm(2), při změnách polohy fokusu. Au bylo použito jako terčík. Výsledky ukazují, že k samofokusaci dochází, když je laserový svazek fokusován asi 200 mikrometrů před povrch terčíku. Za těchto podmínek je generována nová grupa iontů, majících vysoká nábojová čísla a vysokou kinetickou energii, v důsledku zvýšení teploty laserového plazmatu. (cs)
