  • Laser-generated plasmas are obtained ablating polymers using a Nd:Yag laser (3-ns, 532-nm) at 5 x 10(9) W/cm(2) intensity or an iodine laser (300-ps, 438-nm) at 5 x 10(14) W/cm(2) intensity. Measurements demonstrated that the mean ion velocity, directed orthogonally to the target, increases for polymers doped with metallic elements ( Cu, Au and W). The results can be explained by the higher number of electrons coming from the dopants, which increases the electric field generated in plasma in front of the target surface.

  • Laserem generované plasma je získáváno ablací polymerů Nd:Yag laserem (3-ns, 532-nm) při intensitě 5 x 10(9) W/cm(2) a jodovým laserem (300-ps, 438-nm) při intensitě 5 x 10(14) W/cm(2). Měření ukázala , že střední rychlost iontů kolmo k terčíku vzrůstá u polymerů dopovaných kovy (Cu, Au, W). Tyto výsledky lze vysvětlit větším počtem elektronů z dopantů, které zvyšují elektrické pole generované v plazmatu před povrchem terčíku. (cs)
