  • WEGA je klasický 5ti periodový n=2stelarátor s velký poloměrem 0.72m a s poměrem malého poloměru k velkému 6. Ohřev plazmatu byl uskutečněn pomoci OXB konverze vlny s frekvencí 2.45GHz. Vybuzeni EBW a její síření bylo simulováno pomocí 3D kódu sledování paprsků. Experiment s modulováním výkonu (12kHz) prokázal lokální resonanční absorpci. Byla předpověděna generace proudu pomoci Bernsteinových vln, a následně změřena pomocí Rogowského cívky umístěné vně nádoby a pomocí zkratovaného OH transformátoru. (cs)
  • The WEGA stellarator is a classical five period n=2 stellarator with a major radius of 0.72 m and an aspect ratio of 6. Plasma heating was done with the help of OXB-mode conversion of 2.45 GHz wave. EBW-generation and propagation was simulated in a 3D ray-tracing code. Power modulation(12 kHz) experiments show resonant and local absorption. Bernstein wave current drive was predicted and subsequently measured by outer-vessel Rogowski coil and short circuited OH- transformer.
