  • V hustém plazmatu v NSTX nemůžeme pozorovat standardní emisi O- a X-módů z několika nejnižším harmonických. Pozorovaná EC emise je svázána s konverzí elektronových Bernsteinových vln (E4BW) v oblasti horní hybridní resonance ležící, v tomto přísadě , blízko hranice plazmatu. EBW emise je však těsně svázána s rovnovážnými poli, které jsou v NSTX rekonstruovány pomocí EFITu. Vyšetřujeme několik modelů EFITu, počínaje základní verzi požívající pouze měřené hodnoty vnějšího magnetického pole s jednoduchými modely proudu a tlaku v plazmatu a konče s modely zahrnujícími vliv povrchových proudů a MSE měření. Závislost EBWE na frekvenci poskytuje optimální parametry pro přepokládaný ohřev plazmatu a generaci proudu. (cs)

An explanation for any such measured EC emission is the mode conversion of Electron Bernstein Waves (EBW) near the upper hybrid resonance region near the plasma edge. However EBW emission is strongly coupled to the equilibrium fields in NSTX as reconstructed from EFIT. We examine some models of EFIT ranging from the basic model that uses only the external magnetic measurements with simple models for plasma current and pressure, to those models that include effects of edge currents, MSE measurements and their effect on EBW simulations. The frequency dependence of EBWE provides optimization parameters for proposed EBW heating and current drive.
