Description	The mechanism of interaction of lower hybrid waves with electrons at large amplitudes is studied by decomposition of the spatially localized electric field into spatial modes. It is shown thot the broadening of the ronge of interaction con be explained by overly of the neighbowring spatial modes.The time evolution fo the distribution function is followed,and the possibility of the generation of strong Langmuir waves is demonstrated.
